Hartwell Georgia & Hart County received Governor Purdue's recognition as an Entrepreneur Friendly community in May 2006. Hart County is the #1 NE Ga County, and #18 in the statewide program. (see photo, right)
The Hartwell DDA & The Hart County Chamber began an Entrepreneur Initiative Program in 2005. Amenities include a business resource kit,    low interest loan information, consultations with SBDC &
GA Dept. of economic Dev.professionals, and much more.
